Yay for bags!
April 24, 2004 5:52 PM

My bag arrived!!! HURRAH!!! On the downside, I have no shoulder, so it keeps falling off. This week has been pretty good, I've worked hard, finished the shitty module that everyone seems to hate and now I'm onto designing webpages ... now, look around you, am I gonna find this hard? I doubt it. Right now I'm eating papadams and watching the big gig, which is from the 80's and it's really quite good. the papadams are starting to taste like shit now. WOW!! lano and woodley used to be three people and they used to call themselves the found objects and they're singing. Thank god they got rid of their third member and stopped singing, they might have ended up like tripod. You know ... crap.

Also in news this week, on Thursday Penny, Julie and I had to go down to pidgeon park because the tea room was full of tards who don't do any work. Anyway, that's not the point of my story. So went and got lunch and then found our selves a place to sit. I spilled my milkshake and then came the funniness. I decided to try and catch a pidgeon, I didn't have much luck, but then came this lady. She looked really professional, wearing a lady suit and stuff and she's creeping up on this pidgeon that we'd noticed earlier which had something white around its leg. Naturally we stared at her, as you do with a strange person so she explained herself. This pidgeon which she referred to as stumpy, had gotten wire caught around his foot, so this woman had caught him, taken him home, cut off his foot and wrapped his leg in a bandage. Naturally, being a bird and all, stumpy returned to where he was found after escaping the clutches of the crazy, well dressed woman.

Now, everyone must go and see Kill Bill Volume 2 ... but not before you see Volume 1 of course. I suggest you do what I did, which is rent it, watch it and then straight away go and see the second one. They're both really awesome movies and I take my hat off to Quentin Tarantino. He may not be the prettiest rose in the bunch, but he's sure good at what he does.

Luckily for him, in this picture Uma Thurman looks like crap, making him look a trifle better. That vehicle in the background, also known as the pussy wagon is very pretty. I quite like the yellow colour, makes it stand out nicely. I must also congratulate Uma for her brilliant performance, she says herself that it was a challenging role and personally, I think she did an outstanding job. It would have been an awesome role to play, heaps of different disciplines, sword fighting, wire work, learning a bit of japanese and looking realistically in pain =OD. I will most definately be buying the DVDs when they come out.

Remember to come back and see what I get upto next week ... perhaps it will be more exciting than this week, maybe I'll even see stumpy again!!
