Well well well, trust me to mess things up. If you click on the September link on the left it will take you to my old site. I think what I may do is create months in the new layout for the old posts, I'm sure everyone has seen what my old site looked like. If you haven't then look quickly because after the weekend (presuming I'm not lazy) it will be gone ... FOR EVER!!! Well not for ever, I will have a copy of it on my computer of course. Anywho, it wasn't that great so it's not like it will be sorely missed. If I'd liked it, I probably would have stuck with it. I wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't wanted to check for new comments, how lucky. I also know that the links on the read guestbook page open in the frame rather than the whole window, I need to look at this as well.
I would have been more organised, but I'm addicted ... TO THE SIMS 2!!!!! And also iced mochas from the java joint ... THEY ROCK!!! Ok, I'm done shouting. Now, I pried myself away from the sims 2 on Saturday night to go and see the performance of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest at the Noarlunga theatre. It was damn good for amature theatre. I was impressed. More people should have come to see it. I wish more people would come and see the opus productions. I think the deal is that we live in an area of bums, no one has any culture, so they don't like to see live theatre, let alone GOOD live theatre. From what I have observed the pantomime's always do the best because parents are always looking for ways to entertain their annoying kids during the school holidays. Now, What I think we need to do is do more midweek matinee shows and make schools force their kids to go. Tell them that regular tickets are $20 and that they can have a special deal for $10 a head. That way they think they're getting a bargain and opus are getting big crowds. We win and they think they're winning, everyone is happy. Particularly the players. It would be nice to perform to a full house, packed to the brim with screaming fans ... ok, getting a bit full of myself there. Anyway, it would be nice.
Those of you who have not played the sims 2 yet are missing out, let me tell you! Well, if you're into that sort of thing you are anyway. It looks so much better than the sims 1, all 3 dimentional and such. It's great that they eventually die too! In the first one, providing you didn't lock them in a room and set them on fire, or take away the ladder to the pool, your sim would live for ever. In the sims 2 there is a bit of a sense of urgency because you actually have to have your sim achieve something within a certain amount of time and you have goals to reach too. Now, when naming sims, it is important to pick something that you can laugh about, for example, my spoon family had a baby, so naturally, I named it fork spoon. When naming another family, I chose the family name Schphincter and plan to name new children anus and such. A premade family that I am playing currently with the name smith had a baby and I named it crandle. I hope my Schphincter family have a girl baby, I think anus is a pretty name.
