Trix are for diabetes
December 24, 2004 9:40 AM

Apparently TRIX are for kids, you silly rabbit. At least that's what the box says. Firstly let me say I was little scared of all the colour I saw when I pulled the bag from the box. It's only 8 am, that's far too much colour for this time of the morning. When I poured them into my cup, I thought "My god! a raver has exploded in my cup!!" That's right kids, Trix are VERY bright and there's lots of different colous, just the thing to get the little ones nice and hyped up for the morning. As per usual I tried them dry and to tell you the truth, they were alright, most of them tasted the same, but they were alright.

I put the milk in and then I had to work in the phones being that I'm here on my own and all, so it had a few minutes to soak in. This is something I've not done with the other cereals. I think it was a good move with this one. Basically, if you like froot loops, you'll like Trix. Personally I quite liked the way they were a bit slimey and chewey after being in the milk for a while. I much prefer a chewy cereal to a crunchy one. Now, for the milk. It can only be described as looking like one thing ... Fairy Puke. Why's that? Because it's a light shade of pink with reds, blues and yellows scattered around on the top. This is I imagine what Fairy Puke would look like. The Taste? Like froot loop milk, nothing special.

Now, there's still 8 more cereals to go. I may have another one later today, but I'm not sure whether I'm going to take them home over the weekend or not. I quite enjoy my mornings at work where I don't really do anything but eat cereal and blog for 15 minutes. This shall require some consideration.

Ok, so I got hungry again. This time it was the cheerios ... sorry FROSTED cheerios. I'm not sure why but I always thought cheerios were red ... it could be that they come in a different flavour. So here's the deal, cheerios taste pretty good dry and when ya get the milk on them they're pretty similar to nutrigrain in taste, not quite as sweet though.

Here's some not so factual facts from the side of the cheerios box:

The Frosted Cheerios "O" absorbs 37 times its own weight in milk.

Photos from the Hubble Telescope prove Frosted Cheerios are in the black hole.

The air in the middle of a Frosted Cheerios "O" is actually warmer because it created its own gravity.

So now you know kids, Cheerios are like nutrigrain. The milk is pretty similar to nutirigrain milk too, not that pleasant. I'm pretty disappointed by these cereals you know. Golden Grahams had better be better, I'm not holding my breath though. I now have weird cereal breath. Have a nice day kids and remember if ya don't go to sleep tonight Santa wont come.
