Congratulations to all those people who voted in Iraq ... especially if you weren't killed doing it. We take it for granted here. Hell, I didn't even vote properly, I just wrote a letter of "FICUS& in each box, not that it mattered ya know, but it's great that I didn't have to be scared of being blown up when I went and wasted my vote. Why would people want to stop others from voting, what good does that do?

HEY EVERYONE!!! Look at my DVDs!!!
DVDs!!!
Yes that is 5 seasons of Stargate, 4 seasons of Futurama and a whole bunch of GREAT movies. =OD Anyone who wants a list, just ask me.

WOOHOO!! The Average time for visitors to my blog is 78 seconds!! Either people can read really fast or they're all just leaving when they realise that there are no naked kids on here!! It may be time to change it up around here, perhaps a new name, no more nakedness!! Suggestions anyone?

I find myself imagining the members of the helpdesk dancing to the music I'm listening to. The main one today was good luck, by basement jaxx. Let me tell you it wasn't a pretty sight.

WANTED: Some will power, will pay any price.
I'm about to start reading Salam Pax. It's a book of the blogs of some one who lives in baghdad. Apparently it's all about Saddam Hussein and stuff, I've heard it's a good read. If only I could do the same thing.
I've decided when I go away I'm going to get an awesome leather-bound journal to write in. I'll have it with un-lined pages cuz that looks much better than with lines. I dunno where to get one from for a decent price though. Another problem is that I can never seem to write straight when I have unlined paper. I guess I'll learn though.
So I need a pseudonym, any suggesttions?

Last night Laura and I went to see Finding Neverland, I liked it ... Actually we went to Marion to get Cold Rock, the movie was just a cover story.

Well here I am at work, nothing to do. Laura is reading an OC book and I'm blogging, listening to MP3s and looking for a new phone.

So here it is, my first post with my new keyboard. I's a little hard to type on as it keeps moving around. It's pretty weird, the keys go down and like cup your fingers. This afternoon, I went to Shutzenfest. It was pretty dead while I was there. I had an ice cream, a pretzel and a schnitzel burger. My favourite part was when the truck did a u-turn on port road. Yeh, that was great. I bught 4 beer steins. One for me and three for friends.

Well, welcome to 2005 bloggerinos. After a short delay (thanks to some sort of retarded problem with the hardware, which has now been rectified wil a new motherboard and a lovely athlon 64 processor =OD).
So it's that time of year again, time to do the annual wrap up. HERE GOES!!!
January: I believe during this time I spent a lot of time doing nothing at all and watching movies with friends. I was doing a lot of thinking as well. I knew I wasn't going to get into uni, I didn't REALLY want to go to TAFE. I decided that I was going to go to Spherion. Although expensive it was a great opportunity and as it turned out, it was the right descision to make. Also during January I was involved in a production of Aladdin, directed by a gross stinky woman.
February: So this month I got off my ass and started my course at Spherion. They wouldn't let me do the course I originally wanted to do, but if I had done that one I expect I'd still be there. I got off to a good start, good grades, worked hard, made a few friends.
March: Well this month my car got broken into twice within 12 days which sucked, my CD player got stolen ... but now I have a new one. I kept doing well at Spherion, grades were still pretty good and I think I started taking advantage of remote access, meaning I could do work from home. I kept getting hours ahead of my course, it was great
April: This is always my favourite month of the year as it's my birthday month. This year in particular as it was the year that I turned 18 and gained the privilleges of voting and legally buying alcahol and cigarettes, not that I smoke of course. Other than that I believe this mont was uneventful
May: Well according to my blog the only thing I did this month was find a dead mouse at Harvey Norman. I'm sure I got up to a bit more than that though. Obviously still at Spherion and working hard.
June: This month I got a desk system think built in and I was obviously very busy at Spherion as I wasn't blogging very much. Apparently I was doing a lot of boring stuff too, like theory of electronics.
July: This was the month that I discovered Gavin Degraw. He's a hottie and he makes awesome music. This was also the month that I got broadband and bought a domain name. Along with this new domain name and hosting plan came the monthly stats and the realisation the a lot of people seem to find my website by searching for tits. Now as far as I'm concerned I don't talk about tits all that often.
August: Wow, this was the month that I finished the course work for my Diploma of Systems Technology. This month I started work experience with Volante working in the SANTOS building. Apparently I did great although in the end I didn't get a job there even though there was one going =O(. Anyway, had a good time there and I gained a lot of confidence.
September: This was the best month of the year so far, even better than April. Why I hear you ask? Because I got a job at the Health Department and my parents went away to New Zealand. I got a taste of what it's like to live on my own. I loved it. I enjoyed my job, that said it did get a lil boring after a while. There's only so much excitement that can be found in answering calls on a helpdesk.
October: This month I discovered Darrel Lea Apple licquorice, it's great. This was also the month that I first heard that I may be getting a promotion, of course it wasn't in anyway solid yet.
November: This month it beacme rock solid, I got the promotion and it with a nice pay rise. A whole $2.50. A bit more than I was expecting. I worked hard to learn all the new stuff for my position. I don't think it really has a title. I guess I'm just a member of the A ccess Team on the Riverside Helpdesk. I love my new position. I basically just sit around all day, listen to MP3s, answer a few e-mails and put a few entries into a database.
December: Christmas, Laura went on leave, I had to do access all by myself. I think I did alright. I took a few days off over Christmas and did basically nothing except try and unbreak my computer. It didn't happen until just the other day, but it now works, so here I am now.
Well that's it folks, a pretty eventful year, I started a course, turned 18, finished a course and got a job. Let's hope this year is just as good, if not better!!
