Harvesting the scrotum
May 30, 2005 11:08 AM

We shall have new sandals of madjesty ... MADE OF SCROTUM! I shall harvest them shortly.

Equine Completion
May 29, 2005 7:50 PM

Equine Completion has been achieved. Great effort put in by everyone involved, the musicians, the ushers, the cast, the crew ... and the audience too, for taking the time to come see it. Every night we had decent crowds, it was most pleasing. We spent the better part of 3 days getting everything put into the theatre and setup and it took us the better part of an hour and a half to rip it all apart again. I'd say there are a fair few people with sore hands today, I know I do and my ass hurts too from kneeling and tensing and pulling at those damn staples. I hope everyone who came to see it enjoyed and if they didn't ... a plague on both their houses ... that's right.

Anyway, the cast party was cool. I had fun, we playing guitar and sang and drank and talked and made merry. Then Vicki and I went to the BP on Beach Rd where it was warm and had food, it was great. Then my chest started to hurt so we came home.

I'd now like to share with you exerps of what I wrote when I was pissed, someone wanted me to finish a song I'd started:

Our love, it was fleeting
and that lamb, it was bleating,
Where did this lamb come from?
No one's quite sure, so let's eat it.

The rest of what I wrote was rot. Today I did next to nothing, I went and got my stuff from Vicki's house then grabbed some video games ... by the way, Fable is crap.

Confucious
May 28, 2005 1:35 AM

Do you know what Confucious should have said?

"I'm just a man with a stupid name, people should stop quoting the things I say when I'm on crack"

They should totally put that in a fortune cookie.

Please don't shoot me
May 27, 2005 9:10 AM

Yes, yes, I know, I've been really slack ... so shoot me ... no, really, please shoot me, I'm so tired I just want to die.

I've been realy busy this week with Equus. We've made it half way through our season and I think most of us are ready to chuck it in. Half of us are sick, we're all very tired, but on the upside we got a killer review! We have two more days and 3 more shows. I'm thrilled ... can you tell?

In other news tomorrow Vicki and I will be being Pirates!! Someone tracked us down through the show we did for the kids with Steve and they want us to do monthly birthday parties at ... some place, I don't exactly know where it is. Anyway, the fact is that we're getting more work ... YAY!! The bad thing is that it means I need to go and look for a costume today and I have to get up and do things tomorrow as opposed to sleeping till say 12 and then going to the theatre. I'm going to spend an hour and a half making balloon animals for children who have never heard of the words please and thankyou.

I got a new phone yesterday ... it cost me $600 =O\. We all have to lash out every now and then. It's a 6230i and I love it like a dead child and those toes I lost to frost bite. I've been uploading stuff like mad to my phone, heaps of pictures, songs for ring tones ... god I love blue tooth! I looked everywhere for a dongle yesterday and I finally found one at Strathfield for $30 ... I was stoked.

A letter to Mr Lucas
May 20, 2005 8:17 AM

Dear Mr Lucas,

Congratulations on managing to fuck us in the ass for a third time running. How does it feel? Chaffing yet?

Having said that, I did enjoy your movie. The story sucked, it's like you had all this stuff to do in your allotted time and you did about half of it, then you thought "aw shit, I have all this other stuff to do and only about 5 minutes to do it in ... I could do another movie ... fuck it, I'll just cram it all in these 5 minutes, it'll be fine!". So congratulations again on making half a great movie, surely you could have done "Star Wars 3.5:All the other stuff I didn't put in the last one".

Now I know you're planning to make a TV show and all that, but from what I gather the TV show will be about the minor characters (OH PLEASE LET IT BE THE WOOKIES PLEASE!!!!), so this wouldn't help at all with things left out of this, your final movie in the Star Wars saga. If you ask me, it's time for 7, 8 and 9. Here are some suggested titles:

Star Wars:I Need More Money to Build a Bigger Pool
Star Wars:The Mafia Has my Child
Star Wars:The One Where JarJar Binks' Tonue is Cut Out and Everyone is Happy
Star Wars:The Nursing Home Strikes Back
Star Wars:The Incontinence Years
Star Wars:NIPPLES!

About this TV show ... as you may have noticed in one of my previous posts I fancy myself to be a candidate to play a jedi ... assuming you will actually be having Jedi in your TV show. Now, I would be more than happy to relocate to where ever you are shooting (I believe you're considering Sydney, which if you ask me is a top idea. Please tell all your film making friends to come over here and make their magic here with our help of course. We don't make enough international TV here).

Thankyou for making this movie and if you decide to do another one, feel free to contact me in regards to story. Also if you plan to use one of my stupendous titles I expect royalties and lots of them ... or a part in your TV show, either is fine. And I don't mean just a walk on part, I mean a regular character.

Yours Sincerely,

Kirsco

Delusional delusionites
May 19, 2005 10:50 AM

Ok, so you guys think that I'm nuts for stargate, you should see what some of the posters on the gateworld forums are like. For example, this week I've been posting in the Jack/Sam shipper thread, which is for people who want Jack and Sam to get together (yeah, it took me for ever to figure out what a shipper is). Now for those of you who are stargate fans and don't want any spoilers for season 9 I suggest you stop reading now ...

Are they gone? Ok, good. Now, as some of you may know RDA will only be appearing in 3 episodes in this season and Joe Malozzi, one of the writers has pretty much dismissed the possibility of Jack and Sam both being away on a honey moon or some such lovey dovey thing. Basically they're saying that Jack will be given a promotion to Hammond's old job and that Sam will be away (due to Amanda's pregnancy) is a place far far away. So, people at the studio who work on stargate are saying that the atmosphere is the happiest it's ever been. These shippers have taken this to mean that everyone there hates RDA for leaving them. This is but one of the whacked out conclusions that they have jumped to.

These conclusion jumpers have made me think about how much the written word can be grossly misconstrued. Interpretation is a dangerous tool. This also makes me think about how people write fan fics (stories written involving characters and settings already developed) and how badly they portray characters. Now, this could be just because they're bad writers, but I'll give them a little credit and say that they could probably do some alright writing if they were creating original characters. I guess some people just can't get inside the head of the characters as well as others, but some of the ones I've seen are just SHOCKING! If you're going to go to all the trouble of writing something, the least you could do is stay true to the character!

If I were one of the writers on Stargate I'd be horrified! Of course there's always the possibility that my interpretation is different to that of these fan fic writers and different still from the characters ... but honestly, I think I could write a story that was much more true to the characters. Perhaps I should ... Then again, perhaps I should finish what I'm trying to write now before I start anything else new. That's me, Kirsty the bringer of many beginnings and few ends.

Future career choices
May 18, 2005 2:46 PM

I decided today that I would make an awesome Jedi ...

*waves hand* You think I would make an awesome Jedi.

My adoring public down, George Lucas to go. I think I shall start trying to track him down now, I expect it will take me some time to find him and I need to get to him before the series goes into production so that they can base it around my character. My name shall be Seadei Mil ... you heard me and my light sabre will be .... ORANGE!!!!

Steve the Polar Bear
May 13, 2005 1:28 PM

So this weekend I will becoming another of my alter egos ... Steve the Polar Bear. I can't tell you much about him, because ... well we've never met before. I'll let you know how things turn out though and with any luck there'd be pictures because we have a lackie this weekend. THANKS NESS.

I plan to go to rehearsal on Sunday as Steve, should be interesting. We have this costume till Wednesday ... so why not get our money's worth. I went to oxfam at lunch time to get some hacky sacks to juggle. They really do work well. Now ... I need to learn to unicycle, who's got one I can borrow?

... no seriously.

Proud for selling your soul
May 9, 2005 10:49 AM

So this morning my mum told me she was proud of me for joining the gym. That's the first time in ... well ever that she's said that.

What have I done?
May 5, 2005 10:45 AM

So I've sold my soul to the devil and joined the gym. I went on Tuesday night and signed all the forms and stuff. Last night I went and did a 25 minute cardio then a body balance class and this morning I did a 35 minute cardio. Now I'm a little bit tired but I'll do it all again tomorrow. No pain no gain after all.

This Saturday Vicki and I are going to the races ... IT'S GONNA BE A FREAKIN BLAST!!! I'm looking forward to it. The only thing we need, is someone to film us. We really need like a robot or a clone or something ... I'll get on making that happen straight away. I dunno if I'm going to be able to grow a clone by this weekend though. Of course, what I could do, is start making a time machine and when it's finished, come back in time so that I can help us this weekend ... the possibilities are endless really.

BID CHILDREN!! BID TILL YOUR WALLETS ARE SORE!!

So it's the first Monday of May. Now you may wonder what the significance of this is ... as would I.

Anyway, I've been writing like a mad woman and thinking about that comic I wanted to do. Later today I may attempt to sketch some things. I'm sure as soon as I attempt this my dreams of a wonderous comic will be dashed against the rocks. I can't draw you see. We'll see how it ends up though. I may have some sort of weird creative streak that I haven't yet discovered. Not likely, but I'm still hopeful, which is odd for me.

Equus is going well, I'm enjoying sitting still for 3 hours ... ok not really, I'd like to be moving round a little more, but such is the life of the ever important stage manager.

We have this shark here at work, its name is Macgyver, I believe I've mentioned it before. Anyway, he was chasing around the little red fish we have and being a general prick. Laura and I have decided we want to film him for like an hour and a half then make a music video to the Macgyver theme. It would be hilarious ... for us anyway, but this little shark rocks. The red fish is now hiding in a little bubble that's formed as part of this floating enclosure we have for the siamese fighting fish.

I'm looking for TV themes at the moment, mostly kids TV shows, postman pat, noddy that sort of thing ... if you guys have any good websites to get them from let me know. If I find out you're holding out on me I'll be forced to take action.
