Equine Completion
May 29, 2005 7:50 PM

Equine Completion has been achieved. Great effort put in by everyone involved, the musicians, the ushers, the cast, the crew ... and the audience too, for taking the time to come see it. Every night we had decent crowds, it was most pleasing. We spent the better part of 3 days getting everything put into the theatre and setup and it took us the better part of an hour and a half to rip it all apart again. I'd say there are a fair few people with sore hands today, I know I do and my ass hurts too from kneeling and tensing and pulling at those damn staples. I hope everyone who came to see it enjoyed and if they didn't ... a plague on both their houses ... that's right.

Anyway, the cast party was cool. I had fun, we playing guitar and sang and drank and talked and made merry. Then Vicki and I went to the BP on Beach Rd where it was warm and had food, it was great. Then my chest started to hurt so we came home.

I'd now like to share with you exerps of what I wrote when I was pissed, someone wanted me to finish a song I'd started:

Our love, it was fleeting
and that lamb, it was bleating,
Where did this lamb come from?
No one's quite sure, so let's eat it.

The rest of what I wrote was rot. Today I did next to nothing, I went and got my stuff from Vicki's house then grabbed some video games ... by the way, Fable is crap.
