Unthankful
March 30, 2006 11:18 AM

My arms are peeling from the sunburn and I tried to peel off some skin and give it to Laura. She didn't want it, so I figured she'd like a bigger piece. She didn't want that either ... I was sad.

Impending marriage
March 27, 2006 1:35 PM

So my xbox 360 and I are planning to get married next weekend. It's SO amazing! I wasn't quite expecting it to be this amazing, so it's definately worth every cent I paid =O). I'm really looking forward to the tomb raider game and battlefield 2 when it comes out. I'm thinking about renting call of duty 2 tonight, I have Quake 4 at the moment as you can probably tell by my gamer card. By the way, if you hover over the little icons, you can tell what game I've been playing, it has the title. Ghost Recon is the most amazing game I've played in quite a while, the explosions are made of actual fire, not orange, grey and black blobs.

I did something horrible last night, but I can't undo it now. Even if I could I know I would only do it again next week, thus not making it worth it.

David's birthday today, happy birthday to you. Hope you like your present!

Time line of xbox 360ism
March 23, 2006 12:43 AM

9:30 - arrive at McDonalds to get supplies, their new Double beef burgers are ok
9:40 - arrive at the nades to find an alarm going off. I shant sit and listen to that.
10:10 - Vicki arrives and I assume my spot by the door
11:45 - I loose my place at the front of the line because the security cunts open the wrong door first
12:10 - I leave the nades with my xbox
12:35 - I power on my xbox
12:50 - Trying to roll over my damn xbox live account, looks like I'll have to pay for a new one
12:53 - The penny drops and I'm on my way
12:59 - I manage to create a new gamer tag ... stupid ass system, if it wasn't going to let me use the one I already created why did it let me create it!
1:01 - I just opened the CD drawer and it smells like vagina HAHA, so I'm about to play some Ghost Recon!

I'd like to thank Vicki who was there for me every step of the way tonight! I'll see you guys in a few weeks!

It's almost time to fulfil your destiny
March 22, 2006 9:23 PM

Patience my loving controller, you shant lay idle for much longer. I wont hold you in my hands and mash your buttons in place of playing a game any longer. Later tonight you shall fulfill your destiny.

So today is the day kids in about 13 hours I'll be picking up my new most prized posession. I'm excited and I hope that you're all excited for me too! You may have noticed some months ago I put up that little grey box you see on the left here. That's what's called my gamer card, so when I start playing online (as soon as I get home) it will spring to life and start posting info about how many points I have and what games I'm playing. =OD Isn't that cool! I think it is anyway.

I'm excited, can you tell?
March 21, 2006 11:30 AM

So it's 1 day and 12.5 hours to go till xbox 360 and I got a call from the store today. Don't worry, the launch is still going ahead tomorrow night, but they're telling people to get there about 11:30 to 11:45 ... so I'll go down there around 9:30 I think. Get myself a nice possie and wait out the 2.5 hours till the doors open. I'm excited ... can you tell?

Don't expect to hear from me on Thursday. It's like Christmas in March!!! But better, without all the family crap and children.

Tenny boppers should be exterminated
March 20, 2006 11:04 AM

So ice skating on Friday night was good, despite all the hideous teeny boppers. I tried out my new skates and after being broken in, they're going to rock the casbah. I need to get some longer laces though and I only need one pair of socks ... not three haha. I'll probably go again in a few weeks with Rory.

On Saturday I went out to Murray Bridge to go FISHING!!! Oh yes, I fished the hell out of that river and didn't catch a damn thing. Rory caught a Carp and a small Callop pretty much as soon as we got there. There were another group of fishermen sitting under a tree, Rory said it was the best spot, but I liked the one we had. I got sunburned, GO ME!! I even baited my own hook a couple of times ... never done it with worms before because I've only ever been fishing at the beach. Those stupid things try and wriggle away when you start stabbing them. They don't seem to like it at all. Can't imagine why. After fishing, we went back to Rory's place and played a few games of pool. I almost beat him on the last game, but as luck would have it, I missed an easy shot at the 8 ball. GO ME!!

Next time we go fishing, we're taking chairs and hats and sunscreen.

I slept on Sunday and watched Farscape ... it was nice. =O)

Two days and 13 hours till xbox 360 ... I'm almost pissing my pants. Hopefully the weather will be good Wednesday evening so that I'm not too cold and I hope no one beats me to it!

Ice skating and easter eggs
March 16, 2006 1:46 PM

I just ate an easter egg and it's not even April yet ... I feel dirty.

Also children, ice skating this Friday night 7:30 at Noarlunga till 10:30. They open at 7 if you want to get down there and practice a bit before I arrive and blow everyone away.

This time next week I'll be sitting at home playing xbox 360 ... yes bitch that's right! I'll be going down Wednesday night to camp out till midnight when they open at which time I shall race home and begin the gaming! Unfortunately I have to return to work on Friday, so there will need to be some sleeping done, but that's ok I guess.

I'll see you all tomorrow night at ice skating!

I'm currently selling some stuff on ebay, including a football jumper I bought a couple of years back ... you know, when I was young and stupid and into sport. Anyway, I've listed it as Jumper/Gournsey which I thought was the correct way to spell it. That is until some snot nosed little kid came along and said "Learn how to spell. Gournsey= guernsey". So I thought to myself, well thankyou for wasting your time. Then I went and had a look at his auctions, this is pasted directly from his last one:

Microfiber for light wieght stregnth and durabilty. Forefoot outsole flex groove for flexability Side lacing, Injected TOTAL CONTROL Resin on strike areas.

13 moulded cleats on the sole.

At least I didn't fuck up common and at least mine is gramatically correct. So I replied with the following:

You know, perhaps you should learn to spell also. I found 7 spelling mistakes in this auction! Four of them in the first sentence alone. Hope you have a great day!
I really hope he did have a great day!

Fantastic geek
March 11, 2006 8:34 AM

I meant to post this last weekend when it happened, but I forgot. So here it is ... I finished Prince of Persia 3 ... *pause for applause* Now I know I'm not the first, but that last boss was giving me grief during his third stage. So now I'm playing Half Life 2 but I don't think I will have finished it by the time my new xbox arrives. Which is in about a week and a half now ... I'm excited. I went in and paid it off on Thursday and ordered Ghost Recon so I'll have two games! YAY!! I also found out that they're opening at midnight on the 22nd ... I'll be coming home from work, grabbing some supplies and heading down there to camp out till they open. GO ME!! I'm such a geek, but I love it, so deal with it!

Mono, Uni, Solo ... One.

One isn't the loneliest number. I prefer one, I don't think two is going to work for me at all.

This is not algebra!
March 7, 2006 7:00 PM

Bored bored bored bored bored bored bored!!! I'm so bored I didn't even paste those! I can't express how bored I am right now. We're learning about functions in PHP and everything the inctructor just went through made no sense because the examples were broken and they used x and y. WHO THE HELL DOES THAT APART FROM ALGEBRA TEACHERS WHERE YOU ACTUALLY NEED X AND Y?!?!?!?!?!?! They should have used ... I dunno white and black or something. Anything but X and Y. I hated algebra ... I did ok though. After this class I'm going to have to read all this stuff again and see if I can make sense of this shit.

T minus 2 and a half weeks
March 6, 2006 10:41 AM

It's about 2 and a half weeks till xbox 360, I'm excited. I ordered the piece that I need to finish my xbox mod and I just realised that I'm really not going to be playing xbox online, it'll be all 360 from the 23rd so that was a waste of about $30. Never mind though, I'll still finish it off. I'm really looking forward to Ghost Recon:Advanced War Fighter. Now I know it sounds brutal and such, but it look SO DAMN COOL!! I'm seriously considering getting a high definition TV ... probably a 20 inch one that will double as a second monitor for my computer ... I'm such an amazing geek!

Do you people pay no attention to the movies?
March 3, 2006 8:18 AM

I'm going to paste for you now an exerpt from an artcile I got in my inbox this morning:

IMAGINE getting inside the mind of a shark: swimming silently through the ocean, sensing faint electrical fields, homing in on the trace of a scent, and navigating through the featureless depths for hour after hour.

We may soon be able to do just that via electrical probes in the shark's brain. Engineers funded by the US military have created a neural implant designed to enable a shark's brain signals to be manipulated remotely, controlling the animal's movements, and perhaps even decoding what it is feeling.

... HAVE YOU IDIOTS NOT SEEN DEEP BLUE SEA?!?!?!?! I quote:
"We increased their brain size ... as a side effect, they got smarter"

In that movie, the sharks were in a damn cage, these ones will be in the open ocean!! Honestly, I think it is a bad idea. Hey, let's put shit in their heads so we can control them and fuck up their migratory pattern and any territory they might have!

Well done champs, well done!

The month preceeding
March 1, 2006 7:56 PM

March March March March!!! Welcome to March kids. March is the month before April, which is my birthday month for those of you who are new to this. Now, I'm giving you this reminder early so that you can be well prepared for my birthday. I expect gifts ... good ones, money is also acceptible.

dylan moran melbourne (yes, yes, OH YES!)
is ncis on tonight on ten (probably not)
amanda tapping stargate nude (once more, if you do find this ... )

So there it is kids, all laid out for you. Coming soon ... well, nothing probably.
