Bicycle
April 29, 2006 5:01 PM

Went and got my bike today, may not have been the smartest purchase I've made. I just rode to Vicki's house and I'm about to puke, my body hates me so hard right now.

FASTER PLUN HOUSE!
April 24, 2006 10:27 AM

I am the golden god of fun things to do to celebrate my birthday. On Saturday we went to the plaster fun house for plaster painting fun! I had 13 people there and we all fitted comfortably around the table in the party room. They even let us paint in there to keep away from the kids!!! I made lolly bags for everyone and because I'm so cool I gave them out at the start so that people could eat their lollies while they painted. I'm so smart! So we all picked our statues and sat down and painted and unlike the children, for the most part we were quiet. I think we all found the painting very claming. Everyone finished their wonderful creations and we picked our accessories and had them varnished and they all looked beautiful sitting there all nice and shiny and I took a couple of polaroids.

After that, 8 of us went to pizza hut to dine in for dinner. We had fun, lots of food and we finished up out meal playing with jelly and mousse and fanta ... in that order. We were whacking the jelly with spoons and it was making a most pleasing noise. Then I decided to throw it and catch it in my bowl, that was fun. when we got there, they had maybe 3 slices of pizza and about 2 chips, so I had some pasta that was sub par. When there was pizza it was very doughy ... I shall definately return there.

Post Pizza fewer still of us decided to go to intencity where we wasted close on an hour playing various arcade games resulting in the amount of 201 tickets which Vicki likened to Yen. You have a lot of them, but they're really not worth much. Anyway I decided I wanted a chicken little ... they were 450 ... a defecit of 249 which apparently can be waived at will. Long story short, we smiled and were nice to the man who served us and I now have a plush chicken little playing a spoon.

All in all a good time was had by all. The hard thing is going to be outdoing it next year ... I'm thinking bouncy castle.

Pictures of Melboure bitches
April 17, 2006 6:37 PM

well kids I'm done uploading the photos from the trip over the weekend, you can have a viddy here: PICTURES OF MELBOURNE BITCHES!!!

Right now I'm very tired because mere hours after coming back from Melbourne I was off to David's place for a lovely cocktail party at which I got very drunk and then went to sleep only to wake up with a very painful head and neck ... stupid couch!!

At the moment mum is trying to make me do my washing ... it's not going to happen.

Location ... MELBOURNE
April 15, 2006 5:10 PM

well here we are in Melbourne, I'm blogging in the hostel's internet cafe which is near the kitchen. We had huge delicious meaty greasy breakfasts this morning which was most satisfying. Then we ventured to the markets and finally to Ikea!!!! It was amazing, by the time you're finished walking through the shop you're at the restaurant. It's amazingly well positioned. We took some photos today and I was going to try and upload some, but the media ports on this computer tried to eat my memory card, so no pictures today! I'll upload some when I get home. I may even begin a flickr thingo.

Last night we went to a deli and bought booze!! That's right, a deli ... booze. Then we brought it back to the hostel and drank it in the rooftop lounge, it was amazing. Apparently you're not supposed to drink though. Last night for dinner, we had HUGE parmys ... sorry, parmas as they're called here. Must use the local tongue.

Having a grouse time!! Can't wait to come back again next time!!

Also, my feet hurt. It's been raining a lot, but we're all nice and dry right now so we're happy. We're on our way out now to get food and see Dylan ... I'M EXCITED!!!

Macgyvering the Simpsons
April 11, 2006 10:45 AM

So the other day in the US they aired the episode of the Simpsons that we've all been waiting for. That's right, the one with Richard Dean Anderson in it. I've seen it and I have to say, I'm disappointed. Firstly, they showed him attending an SG-1 convention ... he's never done that and I expect never will. Secondly, it didn't really sound a whole lot like him, but perhaps after a year spent just playing with his daughter and shooting one Master Card ad he's become more relaxed and thus his voice has changed a bit. Who knows. Now I'm not trying to say that I know RSA better than anyone and that they portrayed him badly ... what I am going to say is that they did a shit job of the episode. It's the second last of the season I believe and they must have said "Shit, we've almost reached the end of the season and we promised him we'd put him in an episode." ... "Fuck it, let's just mash him into this one."

His story line was completely irrelivant to the main story line and very un-simpsons-like. If they had used him for 5 minutes at the start and then branched off it would have worked better and I would have been happier. You can forgive me for not liking this episode, I've gone a long time without anything new from RDA, the Master Card ad was merely a snack. I was expecting much better and the Simpsons has let me down. YOU'VE LET ME DOWN SIMPSONS AND I'M NOT HAPPY.

I always preferred Futurama anyway.

Fridays am teh roxor
April 7, 2006 11:07 AM

YAY!! It's Friday. I love Fridays, mostly because they are followed my Saturdays and I looooooooove my Saturdays. I also love them because generally we don't get all that many phone calls, so we get to sit around a fair bit and do nothing, one of my favourite pass times. I think tomorrow I will finish watching the Farscape DVDs and maybe play some xbox. YAY XBOX!!

On Sunday Vicki and I are going down to Victor to do some stuff and things, should be good, but I hope the weather clears up a bit. With any luck I should get some good sleep in this weekend also. Sometimes I sleep at work =O).

Today is casual day, another reason why Fridays rock.

I got really pissed off this morning because I had to deal with some imcompetant dick face who had NO idea what he was on about. Eventually, we spoke to someone else and got it all sorted out, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

YAY April!
April 2, 2006 10:17 AM

Welcome children to the glorious month that is April! This is the month in which I was spawned. On the 18th day I will be turning 20 years old. I remember I was so excited about turning 10, I would finally have a two digit age. 10 years on, not quite as excited, except for the fact that I'M GOIN TO THE PLASTER FUN HOUSE FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!! I've booked it for the 22nd because the weekend of my birthday (it's on a Tuesday) I'll be in melbourne ... and it's easter!

I'm really looking forward to Melbourne, I've got my pack out and I'm already thinking about what I need to put in my satchel to have close at hand. Digital Camera, Polaroid Camera, Glasses ... that's about as far as I've got. The amazing Vicki has organised everyone's arrival and also thought of how we're going to get TO our hostel. Go Vicki!!

PS Jacqui and I decided last night that for future parties we need a baby bath for the drinks, so if anyone has an old one they want to get rid of, let me know. =OD

Enjoy the awesome month of April!
