No, but here are my teeth!
September 28, 2006 4:20 PM

Had my wisdom teeth out yesterday and I've had to drink heaps of lemonade, so I just woke up to pee and now I can't get back to sleep. I'm not really in too much pain at all, the last meds I took wore off about 3 hours ago. Having said that, now that I've been up for about 15 minute, they're starting to hurt. I got to keep them, I have them in a jar and I'm going to take them to work to freak people out!

"Do you have a sick certificate?"
"No, but here are my teeth, aren't they great!"

The drugs were awesome at the hospital, I totally couldn't see straight and I almost didn't make it from the bed to the chair in recovery. Just about fell over, it was kinda funny, then when I got up out of the chair to go home I felt really heavy. Before I was injected yesterday they gave me gas wich I think may have been NOS, everything went all echoey and cool, then I was worried that I was still awake after the thingo had been put in my hand.

I freaked out when I woke up because of the packing they put in your mouth and all the slime I had in there, I couldn't really breathe properly and I felt a bit sick, so they gave me something for it and I started calming down. I had a heap of trouble waking up and I still felt really fucked up when I had to get out of bed. I have a feeling they put more anaesthetic in my face than any of the other people I saw there because they all were able to talk, where as I sounded like Sean Connery. I said to the nurse, I'm having some trouble focussing my eyes and she said "don't worry, it's just the narcotics" and I though "... sweet!".

So it really hasn't been quite as bad as I imagined and I now have a free oxygen mask, which I have to wear as a hat to hold ice packs on my head. It's pretty funny actually. I took a photo of my teeth for you all to have a look at!
