It's just over a week until I go away now and I can't wait, I'm gonna take so many great photos =OD. My Flickr is gonna be so full, it's gonna burst!! Although I do only have a two GB card, I guess I'll have to go through and delete all the crap ones. I also might go out this weekend and run down the battery so that I can give it another good long charge before I go away. I also need to go shopping and buy some more underwear so that I don't have to wash while I'm away. Along with that I'm going to try and find something else to wear to the wedding HA!! Go me leaving it to the last minute, I'm such a gun.

I hope I meet some cool people at my hostel, which I might add is costing me less for the whole week than one night in the hotel I'm staying at in broadbeach. Damn overpriced accommodation. I'm really looking forward to spending some time on a beach, in the water, hopefully not getting eaten by sharks or stabbed in the heart by stingrays. I don't know if I'll get to go sky diving, I can probably do that any time up there, but I really want to take a trip out to the reef and do some snorkeling or even maybe diving. I have to do that before the reef completely dies. I also want to maybe go on a walk through the forest, or a horse riding trek or something ... Not that I really like plants or anything, but I guess ya can't go to Cairns without doing something like that. Hopefully I might come back with a nice tan as well, without getting sunburned would be good, HAHA. That reminds me, I need to go buy some sun screen, I refuse to use the Avon shit.

Good news everyone! Amanda Tapping is moving to Atlantis. THANK GOD!!! I wont have to completely live without her.

So this afternoon I took myself into JB hifi and bought myself a new camera ... Canon EOS 400D, 2 lenses, a bag, a 2 GB card and a 5 year warranty. All I had to spent was just under $1800. I'm not crazy, not at all!

So yesterday Carly and I headed off to the Adelaide zoo. Until we got there, we weren't actually sure we were going to make it. We stopped off on the way for subway breakfast which was great and then continued toward the city. It started spitting a little bit, but I guess that was better than being stinking hot. Once at the zoo, we bought some anumal food and started in the children's zoo. Carly found some grinning goats (not quite as cool as the fainting goats, but still pretty cute), I fed a cow and we found three cocks in a bush. Then we visited the deer and they all kept trying to eat the paper bags and the map from my pocket. One of them had a knob on its head which I got a picture of.

We went and visited the monkey's with sore bums, the gibbons which aren't nearly as noisy as they used to be and the Tapiirs which Carly tried to call but apparently don't respond to their name. The South East Asian Rainforest section of the zoo is super cool. We were a little disappointed that the tiger was hiding, but it was kind of hot so we'll forgive it this time. We thought the lions were hiding in the tree because it looked awesome and shady, but they were lying ontop of the concrete structures in their gender separated habitats. We found some weird ass little fox things with giant ears which looked hilarious. I got a good picture of the bilbys and an awesome one of a crocodile in the water. Then I saw the Zebras out the door and said to Carly "oooh, Zebrews ... yes, Jewish Zebras". Stupid mouth not saying what my brain is thingking.

We mostly skipped over the birds except for the penguins which were cool, I got a bit of movie action from them which I have put together with some pictures and whacked up onto Youtube. It's embedded below for those interested. We were there for about 2 hours or so and spent a good clod of time looking at the meercats because they were so cute and played up for the camera. On the way to the seals and back to the car we went past the African dogs who looked super cool and then one of them puked and another came along and stole his regurgitated meat.

Need .... moooooore .... sleeeeeeeeeeep. Ugh.

I have no clue how I got to work this morning, nor how I got pancakes. They came from Hungry Jacks and I'm thinking that the foam boat they arrived in may have had more taste. I'm pretty sure they get their pancake mix from clark rubber. Also, they should take a hint from McDonalds and keep their damn syrup warm.

Brain disolving, words becoming dim .... maybe post more after some sleep.

So I was driving through the shitty this morning and I found that a bunch of people were still up drinking ... at 7 am. Jesus christ, drinking at 7 am!!!! I only wish I were drinking at 7am rather than driving to work after 3 hours sleep. Go me!

I need to win the lottery so that I can buy a house and furnish it entirely with items bought at Ikea, how cool would that be!

I feel like I'm about to puke. How quickly this morning has taken a turn for the worst. =O\

So, it's coming up toward the end of the year, time for reflecting back on what has been so far. At this stage, 2006 looks as though it has been a good year for me. I got myself a new job, bought a pair of ice skates, the insurance premiums on my car went down. Who could want more from a year. Okay, fine, the only really exciting thing from that list is the job, but that's beside the point.

Speaking of my job, I'm at work already. I'm really hoping that today will be a quiet day because I'm really tired. Dunno why though ... could be because I was up until after midnight watching the food channel. I also took my xbox 360 to Laura's and we played Lego Star Wars, it was awesome but I left at about 10 because I was really tired and there was a thunder and lightning storm. It was really cool, I drove home along the esplenade so that I could watch it.

I'm thinking about getting my cisco certification ... perhaps then I will better understand what I'm doing here. A lot of the networking stuff just goes over my head and I'd really like to understand it. The only problem is, the exams are expensive to do so it will have to wait a little while at least. I certainly don't see it happening this year!

So it's now just a month till I'm off to Queensland. YAY ME!!! I'm very excited, I love flying, love it like dead children. CAN NOT WAIT!!! I don't recall talking about it at length at all here, so I will now. I've got a flight to Brisbane on Friday 8th of December, from there I'll be heading down to the Gold Coast for 2 nights. My cousin Martin is getting married on Saturday, after which I expect there will be a lot of drinking done by me, then back to the hotel for the sleeping. The next day I'll be heading back to Brisbane with my parents to stay overnight with my god parents before heading to the airport with the olds the next day for my flight to Cairns, where I will stay for a week. What I will do there, I have not yet planned, any suggestions are most appreciated.

So far, I have saved very little money for this purpose as I've had to buy new tyres and decided to do my christmas shopping before December. I also yesterday made a booking for my 21st next year which requires a $300 deposit tomorrow, but that will come from my savings account, so no biggie. Today I organised all the music into play lists and I've done the art for the invitations, now I need to find somewhere to print them ... yes, it is still 6 months away, but I've been feeling proactive this mid week weekend and I feel that I have accomplished something other than simply obtaining throat deamons. That's right kids, if you've been kissing me, you might wanna go to the doctor, I have some sort of throat bacteria, for which I now have about 5 bajillion capsules to take. We all know how good I am at remembering things, so I'll be taking them for the next 3 months or so.

Back to work tomorrow for 3 days, then I have another mid week weekend. =O) I do quite enjoy my schedule.

So it's November and I know I haven't posted in ages, but here I am posting again!

Enough of that. Yesterday was pageant day and I had to work. I enjoyed the irony of watching the pageant on our plasma TV when it was going past the window just behind me. I managed to get in to the food court to get lunch, went to the place that was serving the fastest, got my potato, turned around and shat my pants. It took me longer to get out than it did to get in and get served. HAHA, I got served. The potato was good, then I had sour cream soup after which was less good. I've been told to ask for a tiny bit of sour cream and I will recieve a sensible amount.

Also, I finished my Christmas shopping on Friday night, before the pageant even came. Who's organised? IT'S ME!! That's right kids, all the shopping done ... well almost all. I have one person left to shop for, but that will take like two seconds.

Next comes december and my trip to queensland, YAY!!!
