So, it's coming up toward the end of the year, time for reflecting back on what has been so far. At this stage, 2006 looks as though it has been a good year for me. I got myself a new job, bought a pair of ice skates, the insurance premiums on my car went down. Who could want more from a year. Okay, fine, the only really exciting thing from that list is the job, but that's beside the point.
Speaking of my job, I'm at work already. I'm really hoping that today will be a quiet day because I'm really tired. Dunno why though ... could be because I was up until after midnight watching the food channel. I also took my xbox 360 to Laura's and we played Lego Star Wars, it was awesome but I left at about 10 because I was really tired and there was a thunder and lightning storm. It was really cool, I drove home along the esplenade so that I could watch it.
I'm thinking about getting my cisco certification ... perhaps then I will better understand what I'm doing here. A lot of the networking stuff just goes over my head and I'd really like to understand it. The only problem is, the exams are expensive to do so it will have to wait a little while at least. I certainly don't see it happening this year!
