They've cut me off
February 12, 2007 8:06 AM

I have now officially been cut off from the Internet, I have to wait till they take my codes off the line and then have a new service provisioned. I feel isolated already. My billing cycle ended on the 10th and I was still connected yesterday ... so I decided to hammer my connection, I got 15GB in about 18 hours. GO ME! So now I have to find other things to do other than be on the internet. I might get some drawing done, possibly follow through on some ideas I have for tshirts, we shall see though. Knowing me, I'll just sit around and watch DVDs a lot. Maybe I'll clean ... HAHAHA, god I'm funny!

I'll just have to get my net fix at work. That doesn't leave much room for work though ....

See you all again when my Internets get reconnected.

Super hero
February 9, 2007 5:21 PM

So today, I became a super hero ....

You heard right, a super hero. I saved someone's house from burning down. I was turning right down the street to go home and I looked up to check for oncoming traffic when I noticed smoke coming from someone's house, so I went up there to have a look and sure enough when I got a peek through his side gate, there were flames dancing around his yard.

So I called the fire brigade and I gave my name and I knocked on the neighbour's doors ... I didn't how ever knock on his door as I assumed that he wasn't home, by the fact that he hadn't noticed his shed a flame.

All in all a job well done. One of the perks being the fire fighters who rocked up and the poor cadet who took my details, he seemed a bit of a goob. I think all that was lost was possibly a tree, the back shed and a little bit of fence.

Steve Irwin and Marijuana

I guess I knew about reefer, that's marijuana, ever since junior high. Some of the boys smoked them, the ones who couldn't get along who were afraid of everything, you know, the ones with no back bone.

In high school my girl friend Anne and I went around with Jim and Bob, they both smoked pot, that's Jive talk for Marijuana and after a while Anne and I got so that we did too.

It's funny what it does to you, everything speeds up to 100 miles an hour, you think you're real sharp and you laugh a lot, you think you're the biggest person in the world.

That's just a short transcript from this video. Take it seriously kids, drugs are bad.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Febtober!
February 4, 2007 11:19 PM

So Friday was the Big Day Out and it was fuckin hot! I thought with my recent trip to Cairns that I would be able to perfectly balance my sweat to liquid in take ratio. I wasn't quite right, but I did okay. Only had to pee a couple of times and I drank a fair bit of water. The toilets there are usually very unpleasant, but I managed to find the ones that were kinda okay, they smelled outside, but were pretty good inside. I didn't really see all that many bands. We started out by listening to the first local band of the day, but I didn't think they were that great, so we went and watched Sick Puppies, they were pretty good. It's a bit hazy after that until about 1 when we went and had a ride on the Dodgem Cars and I won, it was great!!! DJ Ian, one of Carly's friends was DJing, he was playing some cool music. Some time after that, we went and listened to Evermore and Adam went to buy more drink tokens, returning about an hour and a half later ... in fact, a lot of the day was spent waiting for Adam to return from peeing, only to have him come back with a wrist band, or more drinks, or who knows what.

Adam and I went in to the mosh for Eskimo Joe which was awesome, they were hosing us down and the lead singer told us to hug the person next to us, so Adam hugged me and I hugged the cute guy next to me. I freaked him out, it was awesome. After that was John Butler Trio, they played their only song I know first, so I heard it as I was walking away. Carly and I took our chance to eat then and I had free Nandos =O). After that was the killers, I lost Carly in the MASSIVE crowd, so I went to the top of the Grand Stand and took some photos. Here they are:

After that I went and sat in the pavillion where the Dodgems were and relaxed for a while, just listening away, then the guy next to me puked, so I moved. After that was Bob Evans who was AWESOME!!! He did a cover of Ticket to Ride by the Beatles and it was the best!! THE BEST!!! After that it's a bit of a blur too, I was fairly tired by that stage so I just sort of went where Carly went and then drove everyone to the shitty for HJs and then home at last.

I was absolutely wrecked when I got up yesterday afternoon, I got out of bed and spent about 90 minutes sitting in the same spot before I could move properly again. I managed to get through my shift at work, after which I met Carly for coffee and desert, it was nice.

I slept for a long time when I got home this morning and now I feel much better =O).
