Why do all the good things have to end?

So I've now gotten myself invested in Battlestar Galactica and I've just discovered on Wikipedia that this fourth season will be the last. On top of that, it wont actually be airing until February 08 and even then, only the first 10 episodes. The second 10 will be aired in February of 09. WHAT THE FUCK!!! Is it really necessary to have a whole year between 1 half of the season and the other?!?! I'm annoyed, very annoyed, but I guess it's not up to me, so I just have to put up with it.

See TV was so much better when you had the awesome Friday night line up on Sci-Fi, Stargate, Stargate Atalantis and Battlestar Galactica. WHY WOULD YOU BREAK UP A GREAT FORMULA LIKE THAT?!?!?! I can see what's happening here and it all began with the cancellation of SG1. If there was still SG1, then Battlestar would still have a home on Friday nights after Stargate.

WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME, YOU GODS OF TV?!?!?!?!
