Imagine this ...

Just Neil, a piano, a spot light and this song ...

It was amazing, one of the best moments of the whole Crowded House concert. The only thing that even came close was when they would play an acoustic version of the chorus for us all to sing along to, that was pretty cool as well.

Last night was the company christmas party, it was ok, I'm currently trying to fend off some sort of hideous illness though, so I drove in. This meant I couldn't get trashed. I'm glad I went thought because some funny shit went on. The Hoodoo Gurus played .... the same song three times. Top job boys.

Lastly, someone please give me lots of money so I can buy a house.

So last night I was up till about 3 am backing up my important data, accidentally deleting my MP3s from my Mac (SO ANGRY ABOUT THAT) and installing Leopard.

First impressions .... it's nice. Realistically, as others have said, it's just an upgrade for the sake of upgrading and getting Time Machine. That's what everyone's been waiting for, Time Machine. I'm pretty damn impressed with the program so far and I'm just in the process of creating my first back up. What I really want to do is back up everything with Time Machine, wipe the built in hard drive and start a fresh. I'm not sure how easy that's going to be though, I might have to read up a bit first.

The transparent menu bar at the top is annoying me a bit, but I think I just need to find a wall paper that it works well with. I've not yet figured out how to control the transparency and I think I would prefer it if it were more transparent, so I'll look in to it.

I'm by no means regretting the upgrade, as I said, it's nice, but I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it =O)

So ... yeah

It's been a few weeks since I blogged, I know, I suck. I've just not really had anything to blog about. I've been working heaps, did a bunch of over time last week which was cool, but all that money went on getting my car serviced =O(

I'm really tired and really looking forward to this weekend, I plan on doing little other than sleeping. I need to fix my iPhone though, it keeps crashing when I go in to some address book entries which is annoying. I'll also hopefully be upgrading to Leopard this weekend on my MacBook which I'm pretty excited about. I upgraded some parts in my PC ... well I put in a new modular power supply and I got a hard drive cooling unit, which doesn't actually fit and is currently hanging out the side of the case. I took some pictures and I'll upload them to my flickr soon ... maybe.

Anywho, I better get going to work, don't wanna be late.
