So last night I was up till about 3 am backing up my important data, accidentally deleting my MP3s from my Mac (SO ANGRY ABOUT THAT) and installing Leopard.
First impressions .... it's nice. Realistically, as others have said, it's just an upgrade for the sake of upgrading and getting Time Machine. That's what everyone's been waiting for, Time Machine. I'm pretty damn impressed with the program so far and I'm just in the process of creating my first back up. What I really want to do is back up everything with Time Machine, wipe the built in hard drive and start a fresh. I'm not sure how easy that's going to be though, I might have to read up a bit first.
The transparent menu bar at the top is annoying me a bit, but I think I just need to find a wall paper that it works well with. I've not yet figured out how to control the transparency and I think I would prefer it if it were more transparent, so I'll look in to it.
I'm by no means regretting the upgrade, as I said, it's nice, but I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it =O)
