When the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars, then peace will guide the planets and LoooOOOoooove will steer the stars ... Oh, we're not watching Hair?
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president, Andrew House had an interesting choice of words when asked in an interview at E3, about a possible price drop for the Playstation 3.
"We will make that move on price when all those factors are aligned.
"Would people buy more when they are cheaper? Of course. But on the other hand there is an inherent marketing challenge. In Europe I think people do see the value of the machine, the Blu-Ray and network services and take that all into consideration instead of just focusing on price.
"But we will look at price and will address it when the time is right."
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to look for a copy of Hair on Blu-Ray so I can enjoy it in Full HD on my Playstation 3.

I'm not going to pretend to know what Gundam is, but my spidey senses tell me, this is something it should NOT be:

It appears Hello Kitty and Optimus Prime may have had an unfortunate accident one night and 9 months later we were blessed with their hideous illegitimate child.

What happens when you ask the writers of the hit show Robot Chicken to brainstorm ideas for missions in the upcoming Spore expansion, Galactic Adventures? Toilet humour and lots of it! Let's face it, who doesn't love toilet humour?
Fans of the show will be familiar with Robot Chicken's format of short stop-motion sketches made with toys, collectibles, dolls and figurines sometimes from the crew's own personal collection. If your mint condition Star Wars figurines outnumber the pairs of socks that you own or the number of friends you have on Facebook and you've not yet seen any of Robot Chicken, you owe it to yourself to get your Dorito covered hands on a copy and find out what you've been missing.
Luke Plunkett of Kotaku sat down with Tom Root, one of the producers on the show to find out more about their time at Maxis.
"Our Final Fantasy VII sketch from season two is one of my favorites", he enthuses. "We were all such big fans of that game when it came out. I think when I pitched that sketch, I was playing clips from the soundtrack CD to help sell the moments I was making fun of, and the other writers were like, 'YES!' And then the animation and the graphics were so spot-on. I'm really proud of that one".
And his second-favourite? "Another one of my favourite concepts -- which got cut prior to animation, sadly -- involved the Needler weapon from Halo. Because everyone knows the Needler sucks. I'd rather fight the enemy with a pair of nail clippers than a Needler". This scene, while cut from the show, will be included in a rough form on the release of season four on DVD.
Aww, not the needler! Who can't see the fun in pumping an enemy full of pink alien glass that explodes? Personally, I could never get the hang of using the weapon effectively, certainly not as well as the enemy could apparently wield it against me anyway.
When asked how he found the experience, when compared to writing for Robot Chicken, Tom had this to say:

The Federal Government's dreams to filter the Internet in order make it "suitable" for everyone and alienate those who like to think for themselves appear to have become even more of a nightmare. This time targeting gamers. Information from a spokesman for Senator Conroy states that the filtering plan will include websites that sell banned or unrated video games, including both physical and downloadable distribution methods.
This information has drawn attention once again to the need to include an R18+ classification for video games in Australia. Ron Curry, the chief executive of the IEAA, has described it accurately as an "unacceptable situation". He goes on to suggest "It's through the introduction of an R18+ classification that adults will have access to age appropriate material and parents will have the full tool kit to understand the suitability of content for their children."
Surely this can only lead to an increase in piracy. Adult gamers, capable of making their own decisions, decide to seek out the content they want to access through the only means available despite any legal ramifications. See what you're going Conroy? Turning us all in to criminals!

Everyone, on some level owes thanks to The Beatles. Whether you love their music, or your favourite musician was inspired to pick up a guitar after listening to their songs, we all have reasons to thank them. Soon, we'll have one more. The Beatles: Rock Band, the first digital incarnation of any part of the ever impressive Beatles catalogue.
We're just a few short months away from the release date for this title and I for one will be playing it for eight days a week. September 9th will be a good day, sunshine. Until then, you'll find me down Penny Lane, in the Octopus' Garden with Eleanor Rigby playing with Maxwell's Silver Hammer ... Ok, no more song title puns, I promise.
Kyle Orland of Crispy Gamer scored some time with Chris Foster to have a chat about the game.
The obvious place to start is how this game will set itself apart from other Rock Band games. While we're awaiting the announcement of Rock Band:10 or GH:2k10, why should we buy this title? Apart from the obvious track listing, what's going to be new in this installment?
Chris Foster: It's interesting; at the time, we knew ... the decision to acknowledge that it was a Rock Band game was one that came from both [the Beatles'] Apple [Corp.] and MTV. For the core gameplay, clearly there are significant changes, most notably the vocal harmony. But what's key is that it's a game really about the Beatles and telling their story. We don't have the World Tour in there from Rock Band. It's not about cash and stars and fans; they kind of had all the cash and fans they needed from the get-go. It's not just about going through a bunch of live venues. It's not the exact same game mechanics, like, again, with vocal harmony, so there was a real interest to make it its own thing and give it the care and attention it needed. That's what was intended by the original statement.
I'm not sure about your Rock Band buddies, but mine can't hold a tune, let alone harmonise. Here's hoping the game will be able to tell that we're all trying REALLY hard and give us points for effort.
How about that track list and the tracks available for download?
Foster: All that we've announced at this point is our first DLC album, which is "Abbey Road," and the Xbox Live exclusive "All You Need is Love" for Doctors Without Borders.
Crispy Gamer: Is the goal eventually to have it all available?
Foster: It would certainly be awesome to have it all out there, but we haven't announced any specific plans.

So last night I made creamy garlic prawn pasta ... it was AMAZING! Remember that show? Amazing, where they ran around the maze collecting keys and stuff?
Here it is:
Recorded really badly with a video camera in front of a TV haha. That show was freakin awesome, they should bring it back.
Uh, anyway, back to the recipe:
- 1 package of John West Garlic Prawns from your local supermarket (these are fresh, not frozen and they're delicious!)
- 200mls of cream
- Spaghetti
Chuck on the spaghetti according to the instructions, chuck the prawns in a deepish fry pan, cook till coloured through. Then pour in the cream, mix it in, add some salt and cook while the pasta finishes off. Once the pasta is done, chuck it in the fry pan, sans water and mix it round. SERVE UP AND DINE MOTHER FUCKA!!
