Best Not Hold Your Breath Just Yet
June 27, 2009 12:35 AM

When the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars, then peace will guide the planets and LoooOOOoooove will steer the stars ... Oh, we're not watching Hair?

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president, Andrew House had an interesting choice of words when asked in an interview at E3, about a possible price drop for the Playstation 3.

"Not to harp on about it, but the PlayStation 3 has a ten-year life cycle and there are issues of cost and profitability,"

"We will make that move on price when all those factors are aligned.

"Would people buy more when they are cheaper? Of course. But on the other hand there is an inherent marketing challenge. In Europe I think people do see the value of the machine, the Blu-Ray and network services and take that all into consideration instead of just focusing on price.

"But we will look at price and will address it when the time is right."

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to look for a copy of Hair on Blu-Ray so I can enjoy it in Full HD on my Playstation 3.
